This genius interactive description pack from @speech.allisonfors is so fun! I'm able to use it for my clients in the clinic and my telepractice students as well. Don't mind my scratchy voice – I was out of commission last week with the most nasty summer cold I've had in awhile. Here's to feeling better and having new materials to use! 💛
Just finished prepping a couple versions of this super cute #barriergame from @speech.allisonfors, that saved me this Friday!! Forgot my actual barrier from @superduperpub at another site, so this empty binder made it work! We worked on generalizing articulation goals, following directions, and practicing prepositions. THE WINTER BREAK COUNTDOWN IS REAL!!! 🙃 #slp #slplife #speechies #schoolbasedslp #elementaryslp #articulationtherapy #languagetherapy #speechtherapyideas #SLPwintergames #travelingSLP
Trying out the sticky tack this year 😬 they didn't have any white left, so I'm not so sure how I feel about it yet… activity from @speech.allisonfors !! #slp #tpt #speechies #schoolslp #speechroom #prep #preschool #specialeducation #autismawareness #autism #activities #learn #fun #language #intervention
Today I used the sensory bin and @speech.allisonfors gliding minimal pairs to practice /l/ and /r/. Sensory bins are a great -but messy- motivator! Get creative with what you fill your bin with. Easter grass, beads, noodles, cotton balls, or beans are all great materials. Put toys in to practice labeling l, categorizing, or describing!
Low prep, BIG impact. Thanks @speech.allisonfors! How I used it: I cut out all of the pics and mixed them up, then asked the kiddos the "where" questions; as a follow up I also asked "who" questions (who is holding a balloon? Who is hugging? Who is flying? Etc.). Can also use for following directions after answering WH questions (first point to the butterflies, then point to the bear)
