Categorization speech therapy activities – Target home-themed categories, associations, vocabulary, and negation with this NO PREP, print-and-go activity!
You can also use this as a NO PRINT activity by opening it on your computer or tablet. Complete all activities by drawing on the screen (directions included on how to do this.)
Target categories with 6 different strategies: divergent naming, convergent naming, sorting, what goes together, what doesn’t belong, and comparing/contrasting.
✅ WHAT’S INCLUDED:
HOME SCENES
- Point to/circle the things that belong in the picture.
- Point to/cross out the things that don’t belong in the picture. (There are 5 in each picture.)
- B&W scenes idea: Color the things that belong/don’t belong.
WHERE DO I GO? SORTING ACTIVITY
- Which room does it go in? Draw a line from the picture to the correct place.
WHAT GOES TOGETHER? ASSOCIATION MATCH UP
- Draw a line connecting the items that go together, then state the category.
HOUSE MAZES
- Pass each monster’s test in each room to finish the maze!
NAME THE CATEGORY PUZZLES
- Write/say the category of the 3 listed items in the puzzle.
COMPARING AND CONTRASTING TABLES AND VENN DIAGRAMS
- Write/say the category of the 3 listed items in the puzzle.
Blank mazes, puzzles, and comparing contrasting pages are included for customization.
Black and white versions are included as an ink-saving option.
