Description

Listening comprehension activities that will keep students engaged and working! These interactive books are a hands-on tool to foster essential language and communication skills. These resources are my go-to in speech therapy for expanding language and students with limited attention!

✅ WHAT’S INCLUDED:

Interactive Build-A Book:

  • Build-A-Bear

Each book includes 3 pages, with each turn of the page requiring more pieces to complete the picture. This enables you to cover a broad spectrum of students and needs.
Use the books to work on vocabulary, categories (body parts, colors, etc), and positional concepts on their own or incorporated with directions.
Each book contains a sample directions page including 1-4 step directions.
These interactive books are geared towards PreK – First grade.

Drawing Scenes:

  • Pirate Island
  • Carnival
  • Christmas

The scenes are in black and white to be used as a coloring/drawing page. Each scene includes a page with 1-4 step directions to use with the scene. The directions target completing missing parts in the scene as well as coloring (e.g., Draw an orange fish in the fishbowl and then an arm on the bear).
These drawing scenes are appropriate for all ages.

Assembly of books required. I recommend laminating for durability and one-time creation and using sticky tack for freedom of placement of the people/items for the scene.
