Pronouns, verbs, and sentence formulation activities and worksheets! This product is for learning and building sentences with pronouns and verbs.

These activities are leveled and open-ended to teach various levels of pronouns (third-person pronouns and possessive pronouns) and verbs (present verbs and present progressive), as well as creating simple to complex sentences and expanding MLU.

Speech development charts are included to quickly assess where to start and how to progress through these language concepts!

✅ INCLUDES (IN COLOR & BLACK AND WHITE):
Two sets of 36 cards
-One set with written verb beneath each picture and one set with no written cues.
-Print, cut, and laminate flashcards for drill practice or incorporate them in a game.
-Target verbs, third-person pronouns (he, she, and they) and possessive pronouns (his, hers, theirs).

He/she/they Table & His/Hers/Theirs Sort
-Sort the cards correctly into each column.

Pronoun worksheet: He/She Sentences
-The purpose is to begin putting pronouns into sentences for generalization.
Ask “Who is eating?” and the student fills-in the sentence by writing or verbally saying the correct pronoun.
Can be used in sessions or as homework.

Board game with 4 picture dice
-The student will roll one picture die and create a sentence from the picture. After they have made a good sentence, then roll a normal die to see how many footsteps to advance through the house.
First to the treasure chest wins! (A more in-depth page of directions is included.)

-Use as examples and a visual aid in expanding sentences and creating compound sentences.

Developmental Charts
-Use as a reference for the development of sentence structure and pronouns.

    Good ideas and really cute pictures, but I wish several of the target verbs were more clearly depicted (e.g., “play” is a picture of a maypole, “brush teeth” shows someone carrying a toothbrush but she isn’t actually brushing her teeth, “shop” only shows someone carrying bags, “watch tv” doesn’t show a television).

    I love the little house board game – my students really enjoy playing the pronoun dice game with it. I like that the pronoun cards come with a version without words – that way I can make sure any readers on my caseload are coming up with the words on their own. I do wish the artwork had fewer bows and dresses/skirts to show who is a ‘girl’, but this is pretty common across clipart sets.
