WHAT ARE “INTERACTIVE BOOKS”?
These books contain scenes with moveable pieces to place on the scenes. In addition, they are flashcards, worksheets, and activities for vocab, pronouns, possessive nouns, verbs, sentence structure, WH questions, following directions, prepositions, inferences, sequencing, categorizing, social stories, and more. All these concepts can be incorporated and generalized with the books!
These resources are my go-to in speech therapy for expanding language and students with limited attention! This bundle includes all of my interactive books – including themes like a playhouse, life skills themes, and social skills themes such as going to the dentist.
Use these interactive books to target:
- Answering WH questions
- Following directions
- Sentence formulation
- Expanding language
- Grammar (pronouns, verbs, prepositions)
- Categorization and associations
- Attending to task and turn-taking
- Social routines and sequences
Assembly of books required. I recommend laminating for durability and one-time creation and using sticky tack for freedom of placement of the people/items for the scene.

“I really enjoy this resource! It is definitely one I continue to go back to when I need something quick for targeting goals like following directions, spatial concepts, answering wh- questions. Great resource!”
“I love the beautiful illustrations and the versatility of the product. I can easily adapt these materials to meet the abilities of my preschool age clients.”
“There are so many ways to use these interactive books! My students think it’s so fun to move all of the pieces around and we’re targeting so many goals! Great tip from the creator to use ticky tack instead of velcro so they aren’t just placing the pieces where the velcro is. Thank you!”
