Caitlin E. –
My students are always engaged when I use this no prep activity. Have the document printed and laminated, which makes it easy to access when I need it quickly. The only thing that is difficult for some of my kids is having multiple questions on each page. I may cut out each individual question and put them on a binder ring so students don’t get distracted by all of the pictures on the page. However, it is as easy as grabbing a blank sheet of paper to cover up the extra images 🙂 Wonderful resource to use!
Sophie G. –
Perfect colorful and motivating resource to target negation goals.
Francesca Speech Therapist –
This tool is AMAZING!! it gives you a variety of ways to address the topic of negation. I love how at the end there are different picture scenes and different questions on what to ask the pt. If the picture scenes are too advanced for the pt, there are numerous pages that just have the negation presented in a fo2 or a f04 for the pt to choose from. this activity is great, you wont regret purchasing it.

My student has really enjoyed working on the pages in this resource so far and I loved the tip to laminate or put in a dry erase folder so that the student can circle items with a dry erase marker – that definitely increased his motivation and enjoyment of the activity. It also helped me get a lot of great trials out of him and there were a ton of opportunities to model as well.

I’ve used the negation sheets multiple times since my purchase and I love this resource! Very easy to use. It is easy for students to participate with the worksheets and for parents to understand how to support this learning at home. My students circled the responses after I had them point to be sure the response was correct. If it was not, I was able to have a teaching moment. They are all “category” – which one is NOT…..

Jessica V. –
These were a great way to work on negation with students who have hearing loss.
Speechologist –
Overall great resource, very comprehensive.
I have been using the black and white version mostly because, ink…slide 29 is almost impossible to see what’s happening because the background is so busy, the b&w version doesn’t cut it. Slide 27 literally says “what animal is not green”….well none of them, because it’s b&w. Slide 37 again a question about color…I don’t think the author created the b&w version with care, she just copied and pasted the color version.
Overall, covers a range of negation.
AKILA B. –
Great resource. Can be sent home as homework to encourage carryover or done as an activity in therapy.
Amanda Dietrich –
Nice colorful resource, but on the black and white pages, some directions involve color, so they cannot be completed. I cut out the targets into flashcards and laminated them so they can be used over and over again without wasting my color ink. The pictures are cute and engaging.
