I have many students working on sequencing and this was the right resource for them. It was similar to the one we used in our speech sessions at school and now they are home the can continue to practice. Thank you for all your hard work.

  249. Courtney P.

I love Boom cards but this one was really great because it ranged from 3-6 steps. I was able to make it more difficult depending on the child.

  250. Julie F.

I got great feedback and data. Some students were more successful with the stories, some with the pictures.

  251. Melinda B.

This worked great in my sequence/retell session today. My only complaint is that some of the pictures that went along with the stories are hard to see……we made some errors because we couldn’t fully see what was happening in the pictures.

  252. TalkIncSLP

    thank you!

  253. Ashley B.

I have several students working on sequencing. This was great for building on their skills!

  254. Danilie B.

I’ve been having some trouble coming up with an age-appropriate and functional resource for an older Down Syndrome client I’ve been working with. This has worked really well with him, as we go through the sequence by identifying first, last and then identifying the middle one. I like to make it more functional by getting him to make a sentence out of it as well. I am hoping to step up and go to 4-step sequences very soon with him!
Thank you so much for this!

  255. Audra G.

I love that this BOOM deck comes with such a variety of sequences. It’s hard finding resources that target 5 and 6 step sequences… and this includes it all!

  256. Kaylyn S.

My parents had good things to say about this resource that I was able to supply them with as additional home practice. A few parents asked for more supports just like this while we are not together. Sequencing and talking through a sequence is an important skill for many of my students.

  257. The Busy Speech Path

Amazing! Thank you for this wonderful resource! It is so easy to use!

  258. Amanda T.

Great resource. Love the different sequences that are applicable while also being engaging and fun!

  259. Amy G.

This resource has been my go to for kids working on sequencing and creating grammatically correct sentences. I am able to target several goals with this resource, not just sequencing. The kids love being able to move the pictures themselves. It makes therapy a little more exciting!

  260. Julie M.

This is a fun way to work on sequencing and recalling narratives. I have used it in teletherapy sessions, and appreciate that the Boom Cards are self-checking. They can see which pictures were out of order, and problem-solve what went wrong. I also love that you can choose to use just the pictures or the pictures and a short story.

  261. AVANIJA Komarraju

    Very helpful! Thanks!

  262. L M

I really like that the sequences spanned from 3 part to 6 part as it is less common to find good 6 part pictured sequences. And, I purchased specifically because of the 6 part option. For my preference, several of the 6 part sequences were too small to readily see the details to evaluate the logical sequence. Wishing those pics could be somewhat larger. I do like the graphics.

  263. Lauren K.

    great resource!

  264. Lacey J.

Easy to you and works great over zoom or independently on the students own time.

  265. Speech Blossom Speech Therapy

  274. time4 ot

This product was very helpful in creating a smooth and enjoyable time during distance learning and in-person. As a teacher who teaches multiple grades with students who have ASD it is important to create these environments and prepare them despite the situation that we are currently in due to distance learning. For the price, you can’t beat this! It was easy to download and present on my computer. The product was easy from my students to use and I can think of many ways to incorporate this product into my classroom regardless if we are online or in-person this upcoming school year. It aligned with our topic perfectly and added a super cool visual learning aspect to help my students who do better with visual supports. 308. Joan F.

This has been a great resource! My one issue has been the size of the pictures. There is so much detail in the tiny pictures that some of the kids (and even their parents) can’t distinguish between the pictures in order to determine the order. It has still been a great way to work with kids on telling stories.

    great resource

  672. Kaitlin K.

I bought this to use with one particular student at home during specific school closure days and he loved it! I incorporated it into therapy in person also and he participated very well during the activity. He appeared to have memorized some of the steps, but we continued to use this and I had him explain each step to me and why it was the next step. If he put them in the incorrect order, we were able to have wonderful conversation as to why it was wrong and what we should do to fix it. He loved pressing the buttons to see if he got a correct mark or if he had to try again. Very engaging and lots of motivation with this!

This is a review from “The Purple Couch Lounge”, We so appreciate your hard work in our classroom success story We have given up on our newly adopted curriculm as it does not deliver the needed material. Year one we knew things were going down hill fast. I started making my own teaching slides. I have always used M-PP to create. This year our administration decided every class was going to utilize Canva to create a digital slide deck to include key emelents of teaching are included eachday. I ran across boom cards on TPT and fell in love. I was up until 2 am each day trying to make things. I came on TPT in hopes of finding usable material to help me along my journey. Now my slides say the standard, and I can statement, collaborative structure and lastly a formative assessment. In between you will see a slide that says come on down to Boom Card town. We click it and login to Boom and the kids are on fire for learning. Thank you so much for this amazing resource. Using TPT, I found all types of vibrant activities with rigor and depth of knowledge rich questions. These tools are essential in providing a learning enviornment that cater to student growth. Ahain, thank you for your hard work. Every, accomplishment they make is a compliment to you from here on out. Their accomplishments are now your accomplishment.

One of my favorite and most-used virtual learning resources during COVID, I still use it every week on my ipad for in-person sessions.

  934. Victoria Wiley-Gire

Excellent resource. These Boom cards were a timesaver to use with both my online students and my in-person students. The students appreciate the clear pictures without background distraction, which is very helpful for the students I serve. I appreciate that this resource includes 3 to 6 steps which makes it one of most used resources!

  935. Kimberly Hatch

  939. Carla Hanak

Love the format of this resource.. The layout of these Boom Cards are perfect for my young learners. The pictures are straight forward which make them easy for my little ones to sequence. I use these cards when I’m working in the early stages of Narrative development. The children are always excited to tell me a story.

  940. Anna

This helped so much during my first year, especially during COVID! I love that the scenes are applicable to real-life and allowed my students to manipulate the tiles when I’m person. I also loved that there were text and no text options depending on the needs of my students!

  941. Abby P

These worked really well for virtual school sessions. The only issue we had was that some of the pictures are so small that it is sometimes hard to see incremental changes between the pictures to determine the order. My students LOVED making up silly stories to go along with the pictures. Great resource!

  942. Eva Griffin
