It is another tool to practice comprehension and expression of basic emotions. Sometimes I think clip art pictures can be a little difficult to translate, especially when we talk about different facial features that go along with each emotion/feeling. I usually use a little verbal description to go along with. We use it in our preschool and primary Social Thinking Groups.
Truvine Walker –
I love that it’s interactive. Because of the nature of facial expressions and emotions, I do have to provide explanations for my students. I have been using it with my K-2 self-contained students as well as a few that are a little older that function in the same range. Thanks!
