Description
Are you looking for an engaging and effective way to teach spatial concepts in speech therapy? This activity includes a collection of prepositions worksheets and activities. Specifically designed to enhance spatial concepts in speech therapy sessions.
Perfect for introducing spatial concepts in speech therapy or for speech therapy homework!
This is an easy-to-grab and-use spatial concepts resource, whether you prefer printed or digital! The prepositions worksheets are open-ended to allow for flexibility in what you want to target and the difficulty level. Ask different questions each time!
Understanding spatial relationships is crucial for language development, and this resource makes it both fun and educational. These prepositions worksheets are not just another set of exercises; they help students master prepositions and spatial understanding in a speech therapy setting.
Whether you’re conducting in-person sessions or remote learning, these prepositions worksheets are perfect for both printed and digital use. They’re designed to be open-ended, allowing you to tailor the difficulty level and focus according to each student’s needs. This flexibility ensures that you can revisit the worksheets, posing different questions each time to reinforce learning spatial concepts and prevent memorization.
Perfect for:
➜ introducing spatial concepts
➜ prepositions worksheets to send home for practice
➜ activities that are easily adaptable to different levels of learners
➜ students who tend to memorize answers
✅ WHAT’S INCLUDED (color and B&W):
- Prepositions Development Chart
- Prepositions Visuals Page
- In/Out
- On/Off
- On/In – 2 pages
- On/Under – 2 pages
- Over/Under – 2 pages
- In front/Behind – 2 pages
- Next to/Between – 2 pages
Includes 3 full-page scenes including dog & cat in various positions to increase preposition generalization. Talk about the scenes, make sentences, or ask questions (e.g., Where is this dog? Where is the dog on top of the box?) A sample questions page is included.
Includes 4 bonus pages targeting receptively identifying actions (e.g., Which dog is jumping?) in fields of 2 & 4.
NO PREP, PRINT AND GO PAGES!
Simply print and they are ready for use. I recommend laminating or placing in sheet protectors for durability. I like placing the same concept pages back-to-back and then laminating to make it even sturdier. Black and white pages are included for a print-friendly option, to send home, or use for coloring pages!
OPEN ON YOUR DEVICE!
Use this document on your computer or tablet.
Step-by-step directions for how to draw on the PDF with your computer and tablet are included. This will allow you to circle or cross out the pictures and make the activity more engaging and hands-on.
FUN IDEAS FOR USE!
Kids love to circle or cross out pictures with a whiteboard marker or crayon! Get creative by using playdough, bingo chips, dot markers, or anything else that’s motivating for your student!
