I appreciate what this resource is trying to do, but I don’t think it prepares children for their doctor’s visits. It completely skips the big transition in their visits: before the child goes into the exam room, he has to stop at the nurses’ station to get weighed and measured, maybe even have their temperature and blood pressure taken. As a transition, I think it’s the part of the visit for which children need the most preparation, so I’m disappointed it is not included.
