✅ WHAT’S INCLUDED
This resource targets:
► Who
► What
► When
► Where
► Why
► How
► Which
There are 2 levels:
Level 1 – Selecting the correct WH word (e.g. who, why, etc.)
Level 2 – Selecting the correct WH sentence (e.g. Who is it?)
Level 1 is basic and set-up to drill asking each question type in various contexts.
Level 2 is asking the correct question type in a sentence when given the answer. The question types are separated without the capability to randomize them together.
There are 10 questions for each level for a total of 20 questions for each type of WH question. Each page contains the answer to the question with 3 answer choices. Choose the correct answer by clicking/touching the answer. After each question page, there is another opportunity to repeat the question with visual cues.
Navigate the document by using the arrows and home buttons. Be sure to have the file on “single-page view” so the buttons work correctly.

SpeakOut –
Great idea and visual support for students learning to ask questions. The only suggestion I can make is maybe have a level 3, where the pictures are mixed up and then students have to choose the right word. It gets repetitive in these two levels, which are great when they are first learning but it might be boring for the students after a while…

Excited to use this!
Kimberly C. –
There are not many resources for asking questions so I found this very helpful. I do however wish that there was a way to mix the question type. There are two different levels of difficulty, but you can only target one “wh” question at a time so it’s pretty easy for the student to realize that “what” is always the answer when you choose to target “what”, until you go back to the beginning to select a different “wh” question word. Obviously I don’t let the student see which word I selected to target but after a few questions, they are able to guess.
Holly P. –
