This is such a clever, well researched bundle. I was in desperate need of development handouts for parents and myself as a clinician. I kept saying I’ll do it on the weekends and have never had the time. Allison’s design is so easy to read, clean, simple and engaging. I can’t wait to use this for education with parents and guide treatment.

Allison Fors has compiled loads of research to create this extremely valuable resource! I just purchased it, and after my first review, I know I will be referencing it quite often when writing present levels compared with same-age peers in school. I am already planning to share the information about the prompting hierarchy with a parent who asked why my first goal for his son requires him to imitate my model during direct teaching (rather than asking the student to respond more independently right away). Thank you, Allison, for all the work you put into creating this excellent resource!
Jeri H. –

These handouts are definitely on the pricey side but they’re beautiful and so thorough. The bundle as a whole covers so many areas and usually each one is also quite detailed but in an approachable way. It’s great to have a refresher on some areas that I don’t use all the time, and they’re lovely to refer to with parents and staff. I haven’t decided if/how I’m going to print them (I travel around so no decorating and the less I have with me, the better) but I’m sure they’ll only get more beautiful once I see them in real life.

CAITLIN W. –
Absolutely brilliant resource! Everything is so thoughtfully laid out and easy to use and discuss with caregivers. You manage to create a great balance of minimalist design and layout while still creating really comprehensive and informative handouts. My only minor complaint is that I have some caregivers with visual impairments and they have really struggled to read the cursive font (such as “English” under “Speech Sound Development”). Thankfully it is only present a few times so I have been able to easily rewrite it to make it accessible for them.
Maura G. –

Working in the schools and presenting many assessment reports to teachers and families, I was always looking for developmental handouts, that were evidence based practice, that would allow me to answer their questions with confidence. I had a medley of different charts, handouts, graphics, etc. and never ended up using them or was always “Googling” a better alternative. Once I saw Allison’s preview for her Speech Therapy Development Handouts, I knew I had to get my hands on it. I have 0 regrets purchasing this resource. I carry it around with me in every school I go to. Thank you!

I plan on placing these in my therapy room and referring to them with parents. I do with that there were different charts for different speech sound norms because I won’t be able to use that part of this material- those are not the norms my state references. If that was added I would be thrilled!
Hailey P. –
I downloaded this as a way to help me keep track of developmental norms. I used it to make a binder with a couple BW pages to give to parents during an IEP/evaluation meeting and I also shrunk it down to make a binder ring I keep in my bag while I travel to sights if teachers have specific questions. There are SO MANY norms out there and its difficult to keep track of. This resource helps me find them quickly as well as plan therapy using a developmental hierarchy for my students who don’t have much to go off of in terms of stimulability.

This is a high quality resource that I use on a regular basis! I love having everything in one spot and I can easily pull out the right page. What a time saver! Thank you so much for all of your hard work and attention to detail.

I cannot thank you enough for all the hard work you have put into these handouts. They are well organized, visually-appealing, and evidence-based! I have hung 6 of my most frequently used handouts up on my clinic wall, and refer families to them all the time. These handouts are the perfect addition for any SLP wanting to educate parents!

Useful handouts that are well organized, easy to ready, &. pretty! I used to run to Google to search up random norms since I couldn’t ever seem to remember them. However, I no longer need to do that as they’re all available in these handouts. Glad I got these!

I love this resource. It is beautifully designed and organized perfectly. My parents find it easy to understand. There are so many topics to choose from. It is such a professional tool. Makes my job so much easier. I can’t imagine how long this took to develop! Many thanks!
Madeline Gannon –
Very thorough resource! I use this as a parent resource and for goal writing.
Karen –
Very nice layout and professional. Already I have used this in IEP meetings to give parents visuals of what I’m explaining. According to parents, this visual assisted greatly in helping them understand what I was talking about. Thanks Alison for this amazing resource.

I purchased this as a school based SLP and II use it on a consistent basis for writing my evaluation reports, writing new IEP goals, and checking milestone ages when working with my students. It is very handy to have it all in one place rather than trying to go back through my graduate school textbooks and binders. I also printed and laminated 10 of the sheets as wall decor in my school office. I get many compliments on these and they really brighten up the room! I also purchased Allison’s Grammar Handouts to go along with this set. I have each in a binder on my desk. The other way I have used them is for parent education- I pulled one up during a virtual IEP meeting to show the team the language processing hierarchy when I was explaining the student’s needs. I highly recommend this product and the Grammar Handouts for a new or experienced SLP- I have been working for 20 years as an SLP and was so excited when I purchased these! They are a must have for any SLP.

I love these, I find this helpful for goal making as well as for my own reference for a child’s progress. Its also useful to use with parents who know the end goal they have for their children, in order to help coach them on which steps to take to support their child in reaching that goal.

I love this resource! It honestly is a lifesaver, everything I need to refer to as well as, hang up so parents can take a look and ask questions. I am often unsure about my knowledge so it is easy to have such a resource that I can quickly open up and find the page I need. I love the layout and graphics as well, I can tell that she put a lot of effort into it.

These handouts are fabulous! They are bright, colorful, and organized. It’s nice to have some go to handouts to reference or offer parents during evaluations or IEP meetings. I also enjoy having the information at my fingertips. I printed them all out and have them in a binder for easy access.

What a great product! As a graduate student, reading through these handouts are a great studying resource. They are also good handouts for parents during counseling. It is also a great resource for SLPs to refer to during sessions and explaining concepts to parents.

These handouts ARE AMAZING!! I have been an SLP for 20+ years and I’m constantly doing a quick google search to find the normative data and research to give to parents. To have everything in one place, with amazing graphics and excellent attention to detail is going to make my life so much easier! Thank you!!
