SLPS AND EDUCATORS LIKE YOU SAID…

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ “I LOVE these handouts. I have used the freebie ones a lot and these are just next level. I have used them to support parents and teachers understanding of language ages/stages and development but I also use them for myself constantly. Evidence base and well researched they contain enough detail to be thorough but without being overwhelming. Thanks these are amazing!!”

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐“This is such an amazing resource that is honestly worth double the price! I was able to share many of the norm sheets as a before your send a referral packet for my tk-2nd grade teachers and SPED team and it was so well received! The information in here is also so friendly to share with parents! THANK YOU!”

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐“So many times at meetings I worry that parents are overwhelmed with information and may leave with more questions than answers or are not sure what I ask. These handouts are an excellent resource to pass along!”

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐“CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS HIGHLY ENOUGH!!! Ever since I got the free handouts, I had this on my wishlist. As a student, I wasn’t super keen on paying for resources if I wasn’t 110% sure I would use it…IT IS WORTH EVERY CENT!! I use this, and the Grammar Handouts, basically every week because everything is so clearly explained in a concise way – way better than my textbooks! If you are a student debating buying this, DO IT! You won’t regret it!!”

  1. Donna Silfies

These handouts ARE AMAZING!! I have been an SLP for 20+ years and I’m constantly doing a quick google search to find the normative data and research to give to parents. To have everything in one place, with amazing graphics and excellent attention to detail is going to make my life so much easier! Thank you!!

  2. Alexandra Strachan

10 out of 10 recommend! I absolutely love this resource! This packet has provided an easy and functional way to explain concept to parents that they might not be very familiar with. Great job Allison 🙂

  3. Darah

I love this packet! I refer back to it a lot while I’m writing reports as a newer SLP. The information is concise and for parents to understand.. This is something I will be using for a long time!

  4. Stephanie

I purchased these off of TPT and they have been a lifesaver! I reference them regularly for myself as well as use them for parents to understand in more basic terms. Thank you!

  5. Amanda

What a great product! As a graduate student, reading through these handouts are a great studying resource. They are also good handouts for parents during counseling. It is also a great resource for SLPs to refer to during sessions and explaining concepts to parents.

  6. Liz

I love these handouts! They’re so helpful for a quick reference and for parents as well. Not to mention a cute addition to my therapy room. Definitely recommend!

  7. Kayla Ditty

These handouts are fabulous! They are bright, colorful, and organized. It’s nice to have some go to handouts to reference or offer parents during evaluations or IEP meetings. I also enjoy having the information at my fingertips. I printed them all out and have them in a binder for easy access.

  8. Sara

Great reference guide. Use it often

  11. mohammedsarah1996

I love this resource! It honestly is a lifesaver, everything I need to refer to as well as, hang up so parents can take a look and ask questions. I am often unsure about my knowledge so it is easy to have such a resource that I can quickly open up and find the page I need. I love the layout and graphics as well, I can tell that she put a lot of effort into it.

  12. Katie Jarnutowski

I love these, I find this helpful for goal making as well as for my own reference for a child’s progress. Its also useful to use with parents who know the end goal they have for their children, in order to help coach them on which steps to take to support their child in reaching that goal.

  13. Marta

I purchased this as a school based SLP and II use it on a consistent basis for writing my evaluation reports, writing new IEP goals, and checking milestone ages when working with my students. It is very handy to have it all in one place rather than trying to go back through my graduate school textbooks and binders. I also printed and laminated 10 of the sheets as wall decor in my school office. I get many compliments on these and they really brighten up the room! I also purchased Allison’s Grammar Handouts to go along with this set. I have each in a binder on my desk. The other way I have used them is for parent education- I pulled one up during a virtual IEP meeting to show the team the language processing hierarchy when I was explaining the student’s needs. I highly recommend this product and the Grammar Handouts for a new or experienced SLP- I have been working for 20 years as an SLP and was so excited when I purchased these! They are a must have for any SLP.

  14. Karen

Very nice layout and professional. Already I have used this in IEP meetings to give parents visuals of what I’m explaining. According to parents, this visual assisted greatly in helping them understand what I was talking about. Thanks Alison for this amazing resource.

  15. Madeline Gannon

Very thorough resource! I use this as a parent resource and for goal writing.

  16. Carla Hanak

I love this resource. It is beautifully designed and organized perfectly. My parents find it easy to understand. There are so many topics to choose from. It is such a professional tool. Makes my job so much easier. I can’t imagine how long this took to develop! Many thanks!

  17. Lily

Useful handouts that are well organized, easy to ready, &. pretty! I used to run to Google to search up random norms since I couldn’t ever seem to remember them. However, I no longer need to do that as they’re all available in these handouts. Glad I got these!

  18. Julie M.

I cannot thank you enough for all the hard work you have put into these handouts. They are well organized, visually-appealing, and evidence-based! I have hung 6 of my most frequently used handouts up on my clinic wall, and refer families to them all the time. These handouts are the perfect addition for any SLP wanting to educate parents!

  19. Martha McClelland

This is a high quality resource that I use on a regular basis! I love having everything in one spot and I can easily pull out the right page. What a time saver! Thank you so much for all of your hard work and attention to detail.

  20. Angela

These handouts have been a staple on my therapy wall. I reference them frequently and find them so helpful and visually friendly!!

  21. Patrice

Thank you for this resource! I love the colors and style but wish some norms were geared more towards school aged children. Thank you!

  22. Ashley

I’m an SLP about a year out of grad school, and I’ve been looking for a resource that not only would be easy to refer to for myself, but also easy to read and visually appealing for parents. This is absolutely perfect and makes that so easy for me now! Such practical information straight to the point.

  23. Cortney

These handouts are amazing! I love the easy to understand graphics to use with parents, and being able to reference the normative data during report writing rather than having to pull out old textbooks and articles. LOVE this resource!

  24. Barbara

This resource is amazing. As a recent graduate I often refer to it and share the phoneme development page with parents to ease or justify their concerns. It was the first resource I bought from Allison and from then on I was hooked. All the info is referenced, and the colour-coding is just *chefs kiss*.

  25. Houkje

I love this resource! I have used it to help me with parent presentations, when writing assessment reports and when looking for other areas to assess. It is also beautiful and I have several of the pages displayed in my room for quick reference.

  26. Hannah Geiger

I absolutely love this resource for so many different reasons. It is very helpful to reference when writing assessment reports, reviewing results with parents, and teaching SLPAs and SLP students. The visuals are amazing and all of these handouts organize information wonderfully. Still discovering new ways to utilize these all the time!

  27. Rachel

Who doesn’t love beautiful visuals?! Allison nailed it with the work she put into this resource. I have found these visuals so helpful to show parents – they are easy to read and explain. And I plan to print some to frame in my clinic space. A resource that doubles as decor!

  28. Michelle

These have been very helpful to show to parents to supplement all the information that we discuss together in sessions. I like the colours and simplicity of the phrasing – it is very parent friendly while still be quite informative. I like how it breaks down the ages / skill levels into distinct sections and provides references for everything. If you need more information, you can easily search the paper and find it. I used this a lot when I was first starting out in my career to remind myself of the skills as needed and I have yet to find another resource like this one. I

  29. Gaby

These handouts are great! Great to use with parents, and being able to reference without pulling out old textbooks!

  30. Amy

This was definitely a worthwhile purchase! Previously, I had gathered reference charts here and there from different sources and pieced them together. This resource from Allison puts everything together in one nicely organized and visually appealing packet. I printed out the entire resource and placed each page in a sheet protector in a binder. When I am writing an IEP or ETR, I can simply reach for my binder and easily find what I am looking for.

  31. Courtney

I purchased this from TPT and I refer to these handouts weekly! I have it in a binder that I bring to instructional support team meetings and parent meetings for visuals. They are bright and colorful which make it fun and cute to hang in your office or speech room! Wonderful, comprehensive reference and a must have for a school-based SLP!

  32. Josalyn

These handouts allow me to provide parents and school staff succinct yet thorough information about a wide range of topics related to speech-language development and norms. It gives teachers a great idea of where I can best target the needs of their students. I keep the pages in a binder for easy access and quick reference for myself. I am ever grateful for this amazing resource!

  33. Angela

These are some of the most useful handouts I own! They are a go to when I need to reference a developmental norm and they look amazing up on my board as well! SO happy with these well done informational handouts!!!

  34. Andrea Nuelken

I love these handouts! Anytime Alison Fors develops handouts, I immediately get my hands on them. They are a great reference for myself as I’m keeping track of so many areas with the kids I see as well as great handouts for parents. It helps them understand what we are working on and where children should be to know where we are headed in therapy. Great resource!!!

  35. Kori Ostmeyer

Love these easy to read, visually appealing milestone sheets! I use these in our clinic as a resource for both me and my coworkers and to provide to families!

  36. Haviva Davids Diena

Beautifully illustrated, great for reference or handouts for parents or teachers.

  37. Holly

I am in grad school right now and these are super helpful quick guides!! I know I will get a lot of great use out of these in my future practice as an SLP as well!

  38. Casey Shell

I love these speech-language development handouts. I keep them easily accessible for both parents and myself when I need to double-check my memory on development. Parents find them easy to understand. They’re a great resource!

  39. Jayna Howard

Please consider all of these products! I have purchased through the website and TPT. Visually this resource is excellent to provide parents and also a resource for educators. I definitely recommend this and all resources as they all have excellent content and are visually appealing. You won’t be disappointed. Thanks!!

  40. Cally

I’m happy with the purchase. I’ve found that I don’t use them as much as I thought I would but that’s simply because I tend to work with morr Gestalt Language Processors right now. When I do need a quick visual to share with a parent to support a therapy plan, they are wonderful. It’s also just a great resource for myself so I don’t have to hold all this information in my head; it’s so easy to look something up quickly if a parent asks a question and I’m not sure of the answer! The handouts are easy to read, well organized, and I love that we’re provided with colour and black/white options.

  41. Lisa Sieverding

I love these speech/language development handouts! I find myself referring to them often and will use them with parents to further explain what we are working toward. They are both professional and parent friendly, which can be hard to come by. These are great!

  42. Hayley Bennett

Love these handouts! Super quick to reference for myself and an even better resource for families and teachers!

  43. Kristen McGinnis

I love these handouts not only to share with parents but they are so colorful and sleek that I’ve created a whole bulletin board around them! It’s a great year-round staff education (plus the occasional reminder for myself).

  44. Haviva Davids Diena

Easy to use, simple to understand. Good for parents and teachers. And SLPs… 🙂 Thanks for the great resources!

  45. Selah Powell

I love these handouts! I printed two to a page so they were smaller and put them on a ring together as a resource parents and caregivers can flip through. Super accessible!

  46. Hannah Herrmann

I love these handouts so much!! I use them to show my families but I also use them a lot for myself for when I am goal writing. I love having these in my office, plus they’re so cute!!

  47. Hailey

I downloaded this as a way to help me keep track of developmental norms. I used it to make a binder with a couple BW pages to give to parents during an IEP/evaluation meeting and I also shrunk it down to make a binder ring I keep in my bag while I travel to sights if teachers have specific questions. There are SO MANY norms out there and its difficult to keep track of. This resource helps me find them quickly as well as plan therapy using a developmental hierarchy for my students who don’t have much to go off of in terms of stimulability.

  48. Emily

I’ve appreciated these visuals so much. They are a nice resource to share with teachers and parents.

  49. Abigail

I consistently use these handouts with parents. They are easy to read and use every day language that parents can understand! I love the black and white option as well!
